YOUTH PROGRAMS

FIELD TRIPS

Our field trips offer students a comprehensive tour of our farm, focusing on sustainable agriculture, the importance of local food systems, and the wonders of nature. The experience includes hands-on activities, making learning both fun and educational. We can accommodate grade school aged children and homeschoolers. We require at least one chaperone for every 10 children.

River and roots

In collaboration with the St. Johns Riverkeeper (SJRK), this program provides middle and high school students with hands-on experience in Jacksonville's ecosystem. The students will tour our farm, test soil and water quality, and participate in an Enviroscape workshop. River & Roots Field trips are $5 per student. Transportation for Title 1 Schools is provided free of charge. For more information, contact Jamie De Nisco, the SJRK Education Director, at jamie@stjohnsriverkeeper.org.
