YOUTH PROGRAMS
STUDENT FIELD TRIPS
Our field trips offer students a comprehensive tour of our farm, focusing on sustainable agriculture, the importance of local food systems, and the wonders of nature. The experience includes hands-on activities aligned with STEAM and agricultural sciences, making learning both fun and educational. We can accommodate up to 60 students, ages 6 - 18, and require at least one chaperone for every 10 children. Field trips are $5 per student.
If you're interested in scheduling a field trip or learning more about our programs, please fill out our request form.
River and roots
In collaboration with the St. Johns Riverkeeper (SJRK), this program provides middle and high school students with hands-on experience in Jacksonville's ecosystem. The students will tour our farm, test soil and water quality, and participate in an Enviroscape workshop. River & Roots Field trips are $5 per student. Transportation for Title 1 Schools is provided free of charge. For more information, contact Jamie De Nisco, the SJRK Education Director, at jamie@stjohnsriverkeeper.org.

On a limited basis, our Youth Coordinators will visit schools to facilitate STEAM lessons. These visits are available starting in October. If you're interested, please contact Yolanda at YStephens@clarawhitemission.org
